Beaches and Forests
The Forests on Møn:
- Bogø Østerskov.
- Fanefjord Skov, with "Luselejet" a perfect
place for picnicks and "Stimosen" a small moss.
- Fredskov at Nordfelt.
- Gammel Dyrehave at Marienborg.
- Græsgangen, north of Liselund, mixed deciduous forest
with few coniferous trees. Here you can see old beech forest with ponds
and alder-tree swamps and on Hellehavns Nakke you´ll find a lighthouse.
- Grønved Skov, south of Egeløkke.
- Klinteskoven. Also called Store Klinteskov.
- Kohave, south of Nordfelt.
- Krageskov, south of Liselund with the small forest lake
"Skriversøen".
- Lilleskov, northwest of the forest Græsgangen at Liselund.
- Nylukke Skov, west of Storkeskov, north of Egeløkke.
- Ridefogedlukke, north of Maglemose.
- Råby Oved, south of Råbymagle.
- Slotshaven, south of Fanefjord Skov.
- Storkeskov, north of Egeløkke.
- Rydsbæk Strandskov, north of Fanefjord Skov.(Rytzebæk
by us "locals", and sometimes spelled that way to)
- Stubberup Have, north of Lisebjerg connected to the east
with the forest Lilleskov.
- Ulvshaleskoven, mixed deciduous forest with
beech, pine-tree, spruce and oak-trees. Here you will be able to study many
small birds, flowers and plants.
Grønved Skov
The Beaches on Møn:
- Hvideklint, at the end of Ørbæksvej, a sandy beach with
some stones. To the right you will find Hvideklint´s chalkcliffs which are
about 1 km long, but not as high as the cliffs at Møn´s Klint. After the
white chalk the cliffs are made of grey clay. To the left you will be able
to see up to 20 meters hig grey/brown claycliffs. The beach is sandy with
stones at first but later it will only be a stony beach. 2 km to the left
you will be able to see a big stone about 100m out in the sea, it´s
the "Tøvelde Stone" (Tøvelde Sten).

- Oddermose Strand
- Rydsbæk (Rytzebæk)
- Råbylille Strand
- Ulvshale. The nortern part of the peninsula has a wide sandy beach
